Mike Packman

Founder & CEO

Mike is the founder of Keystone National Properties. He began his career in the finance industry more than twenty-five years ago. In 2003, Mike formed his own diversified financial company, which he successfully exited. After the downturn in 2008, he became involved in the real estate space, initially focusing heavily on 1031 exchanges. He is also the co-founder of Bundlefi, a financial technology start-up where he serves as Vice-Chairman and COO. Mike speaks at large and small events, including nationally recognized family office and other business conferences. He has shared the stage with world-renowned business leaders, including Tony Robbins. Mike is the 1031 expert contributor for the New York Real Estate Journal and has been featured in the Real Deal.

David Shladovsky

General Counsel

David is the General Counsel of Keystone National Properties. Prior to joining Keystone, David was with Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, L.P., a leading alternative investments and private equity firm with over $30BB AUM. For 24 years, he served as General Counsel and Secretary for the firm and their publicly traded funds. He was also the President of the firm’s broker dealer. Prior to joining Kayne Anderson in 1997, David was in the private practice of corporate and securities law, most recently as corporate counsel to Hughes Hubbard & Reed, LLP.  David earned a B.A. in Economics from Brandeis University and a J.D. from the Boston University School of Law in 1985, where he served as a member of the Boston University Law Review. He has been a member of the California Bar Association since 1985. He also currently serves on numerous boards, including a chairman position.

Oscar Estrada

Controller

Oscar is responsible for the planning, implementation, and managing of the firm’s finance activities, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting and negotiations. Oscar's prior career experience includes roles with real estate development companies focused on the office, industrial, and retail sectors - including Trammell Crow Companies and Hopkins Real Estate Group. Over the course of his career, he has participated in the acquisition, management, and disposition of more than $500B in real estate deals. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the DeVry Institute of Technology.

Kris Tung

Director of Operations

Kris runs the operations department for Keystone. He brings over 25 years of experience in the finance industry. Over the course of his career, he has held positions in various departments from recruiting to supervision, risk management, and most recently operations. Most of the time has been spent managing staff and the respective departments. Kris is an integral part of the current management team. He is a lifelong athlete and avid soccer player. He has combined this passion with giving back to his local community by coaching local soccer teams for more than 15 years.

Heidi Wheatley

Director of Marketing & Broker-Dealer Relations

In her role, Heidi is responsible for the planning, development, and execution of KNPRE’s marketing, communications, and advertising initiatives in support of the company’s capital raise goals. In addition, she will develop and maintain new or existing broker-dealer relationships as the firm expands its offerings to include 1031 exchange products. Her prior career experience includes building and leading marketing teams within the independent broker-dealer and RIA space and for a managing broker-dealer, where her team successfully supported the firm’s multi-billion-dollar capital raising efforts. Heidi earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in mass communications with a concentration in public relations and advertising from St. Ambrose University, in Davenport, Iowa and her master’s in business administration from the Keller Graduate School of Management in Atlanta. She is an active member of ADISA's Conference Planning Committee and the American Marketing Association's Atlanta Chapter.

Kathleen J. Tepley

Director of Business Development

Kathleen J. Tepley leads the Business Development Team.  Prior to joining she managed an international business development practice.  Hosting and producing multiple public and invitation-only private events for the global private capital community. Kathleen’s business partners appreciate her for her personal warmth, her tireless dedication to their success, and her sterling reputation within the industry – but most importantly, they appreciate her for ability to convert genuine, empathic connections into sustainable, mutually beneficial personal and professional success stories.  She has a long history in charitable giving and volunteer positions.  Kathleen is an active advisory member and participants within the Family Office Association (FOA) and Family Office Global Community (FOGC) organizations.

Nora Harris

Director of Development

Nora joined Keystone National Properties in 2020 as a Director of Development. Prior to joining KNPRE, she was Director of Investor Relations at HAS Capital, a private real estate firm specializing in Manufactured Housing.  Nora has held senior-level sales, marketing, strategy, and client relationship positions at Northern Trust Asset Management, Lombardia Capital Partners, and Goldman Sachs. She earned an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago and a bachelor's degree in marketing from Bradley University in Peoria, Ill.

Allen Esrock

Director of Development

Allen joined Keystone National Properties in 2020 as a Director of Development. Prior to joining KNPRE, Allen was a retained executive recruiter working across industries including digital media, technology, healthcare, and non-profits. He is the Founder of NxtGen Nexus, the definitive online global community that supports family legacy, 360° Wealth Succession, and local impact for NxtGen and their families through Education and Connectivity.  He was also the Founder of JitterFingers. Allen is a member of the Writer’s Guild of American and a graduate of Indiana University.

Allison Hess

Executive Assistant

Allison is integral in facilitating KNPRE’s organizational productivity. Her experience in business administration and legal assistance, has garnered her a proven track record in supporting the productivity and performance of high-achieving attorneys and executive-level staff in fast-paced corporate environments. Prior to joining KNPRE, Allison was paralegal to a real-estate and business development law firm. She sharpened her skills catering to a high-profile client base including businesses of all sizes, from small entrepreneurial partnerships to large publicly traded companies with thousands of stockholders. She also held positions as executive assistant at the public company Gala Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Allison earned an associates in science degree in paralegal studies from San Diego Miramar College.

Advisors

Steven (Steve) Buffone

Steve is a Senior Advisor to Keystone National Properties. He is a corporate transactional lawyer who was an associate and partner at the Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP law firm from 1984 to 2017. His practice at Gibson Dunn focused on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities, restructurings and bankruptcies and general corporate counseling for a wide variety of clients. He was active in Firm management, serving on the Firm’s Executive Committee and as Co-Partner in Charge of Gibson Dunn’s New York office. When he left Gibson Dunn, Steve founded Kenilworth Advisors, LLC, which specializes in legal and business consulting services and venture capital investments. Steve graduated with honors from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and the Cornell and Stanford Law Schools. He is a member of the New York Bar, the Council on Foreign Relations and a member of the Board of Directors of three private companies, one public company and four not-for-profits.

Amanda Jogia

Amanda is Senior Advisor to Keystone National Properties helping with marketing, strategy, and operations. She has worked in a wide range of roles for multi-billion valued retail, brand, and non-profit companies focusing on finance, strategic planning, business development, and new business ventures. Amanda also co-founded three companies. Prior to founding these businesses, Amanda was with Advent International, a private equity fund, in the buyout and venture capital groups focusing primarily on the technology sector.  Prior to Advent, Amanda was in investment banking and audit roles. She earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School of Business with a concentration in accounting and management.

Frank Clark

Frank Clark is an Advisor to Keystone National Properties helping with business development. He is a visionary leader and multiple entrepreneur with proven business and financial skills and demonstrated senior management expertise in a variety of companies and industries throughout his career. Frank has more than three decades of experience in finance, marketing, senior management, high stakes negotiations, project management, building teams, commercial real estate development, investments, technology, startups, and business development. He is the original co-founder of CytoSorbents, Inc (NASD: CTSO). Frank also worked as a financial advisor and wealth manager for seven years and was previously a financial analyst in quantitative equity research for Merrill Lynch, Drexel Burnham and Templeton. He earned an master's degree in real estate development and investment from New York University and a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Fordham University, Bronx, N.Y.

Don Deans

Don Deans was a Tax Consultant and Strategist who supported individual and corporate clients as a CPA for more than 40 years and as a registered representative for more than 20 years. Don earned a BSIR and MBA from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. He began his career at Haskins & Sells in 1974 and was a partner at Deloitte Haskins & Sells from 1985-1990. In 1996, Don joined the financial services sector. Don was a nationally recognized speaker, published author, and thought leader in the accounting and finance communities. His guidance was sought out by the Journal of Accountancy, Hartford Business Journal, and statewide CPA magazines in Connecticut, Georgia and North Carolina. Don was a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), NC Association of CPAs (NCACPA), New York State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA), California Society of CPAs (CalCPA), and the Georgia Society of CPAs (GSCPA).
